We are thrilled to share the exciting news that the inaugural 1632Con will be a part of FantaSci 2024. 1632Con marks the revival of the 1632 Minicon, inspired by Eric Flint’s renowned 1632 series. The Minicon took a hiatus after 2019, having started its journey in 2003. The revival is spearheaded by the exceptional team at 1632 & Beyond.

We’re delighted to have Kevin Ikenberry, the author of the Assiti Shards book “The Crossing,” as one of our Special Guests. Joining him are esteemed 1632 authors Bjorn Hasseler, Bethanne Kim, and Chuck Thompson, who are planning to be in attendance. Additionally, many other contributors to the 1632 series may join us for this exciting event.

Collaborating closely with the founders of 1632Con, we are working to curate a compelling lineup of panels that will showcase the incredible world of the 1632 series.

Stay tuned for numerous upcoming announcements, as we all eagerly anticipate this fantastic addition to FantaSci 2024.
