Bethanne Kim is part of the new alternate history magazine “Eric Flint’s
1632 & Beyond” where she is a writer, editor, and webmaster. Her
background writing books on scouting, emergency preparedness, and even
the US Constitution have been surprisingly relevant in the 1632verse,
which is focused on being realistic (aside from a whole town being sent
back in time from 2000 WV to 1631 Germany). Even her hobbies of sewing
and baking come into play in her 1632 stories.

In addition to her young-adult-friendly series “Survival Skills for All
Ages,” Bethanne has written for on topics from
special needs prepping to making a school-friendly first aid kit to
choosing a shelter location to lessons from The Walking Dead.
